Adamstown’s 12th Annual AppleUmpkin Fest

Adamstown’s 12th annual AppleUmpkin Fest will be held Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The festival, with craft vendors, food, family events, games and contests, will take place at the Adamstown Community Grove, just off Route 272 adjacent to the community swimming pool.
“We always hope to have a fun-filled day where families can come and spend the day without spending a fortune,” said Joe Dietrich, chairman. “There is no admission or parking charge, and we have free hayrides, a costume parade and a magic show.”

The Can You Dig It? Gardening Club for kids at the Ephrata Public Library mixes soil for a new garden bed and begins preparations for winter by planting cold weather vegetables. Master gardeners Nicole Crockett (kneeling) and George DiIlio (right) teach and help guide the young gardening enthusiasts in a variety of areas.
